How do you diagnose a sticky calliper? Feels underpowered

  Clio 172 phase 1
May sound stupid but sometimes the car just feels slow. It's hesitant and slow to respond on throttle. The n/s front wheel gets dustier far quicker than any others I have noticed as only can be described ( s**t ) braking performance as well I have black diamond drilled and grooved discs front and predator pads all round ( they seem really dusty ) I admit the rear dics look like they need replacing will this cause a major decrease in braking. But also the power issue anyone else had similar? Could it be a calliper it doesn't pull to one side under braking, it's had new plugs leads a coil and its not sure a service the air filter was washed 1.5k ago... Thoughts welcome ..

I'd also like to add I'm basing the underpowered feel on my mates 172 cup drove that and it feels so Much more gear to rev and just go .... I know it's not his engine as it burns off a lire of oil every 200miles as he's always flooring it everywhere where as mines done 4.5k since service and only used about 150ml ......

Cheers guys ill jack it up and spin the wheel ( just went full regard didn't I ) .... As from heat It doesn't get roasting but because there drilled and grooved could it be that I'm not getting them hot enough to get the performance ? I wonder why it's feeling slow.... Having some probs with the throttle sticking open at 1,500 rpm any chance it might be a buggered cable ( stretched ) and I'm not getting full throttle?

It's not timed up wrongs local garage done it and I had dan at sjm check it over before as it had this issue but it resolved its self and now seems to be back... Might give it a right Kaining around the farm tomo see what happens

  182
Get it to a garage and ask them to test the brakes. When I first had the 182 I noticed the car would feel a bit sluggish after a blast, I took it for an mot a few weeks later and found I had a sticky caliper.

Just to add I couldn't feel it pulling about on the road under braking.
