How do you put in the radio code?

i have the radio code for my stock head unit but i cant get it in. the display comes up CODE but when i hit any button, including on the steering wheel stalk, nothing happens except a beep. am i doing something wrong?

Use the station buttons. ie press 1 til its correct number then 2 til correct and so on

I think you have to press the button on the bottom of the steering wheel stalk. If you look in your manual it should tell you.

yeh i have tried that but as i said, the screen doesnt change from CODE and i just hear beeps!?

you use the stalk mate.

Anyways,

1) Use buttons 1 - 4 , Press each one untill the correct code is displayed on the screen.

2) Once completed press and hold button 6 till you hear a beep.

That will enter the code.


If the above procedure doesnt work, try anything even the stalk till it comes up with the code entry.

If no joy try leaving it disconnected for 15 mins.

If still no joy either you have the wrong radio, or its faulty.

i have "missplaced" the user manual hence the question on here. lol. ill give those ideas a try and see how i get on. thanks for the advice
