How hard is it to put a ph1 gear stick in to a ph2

hey guys could anyone tell how hard it is to switch my ph2 gear stick to ph1 metal ball gear stick

yeah thats why i was thinking of doing it i think it looks really good as well is just a case of changing it from in side the car ?
