HOW HARD

How hadr is it to change the breaks on a 172 mk 1 . Want some new discs ( Me cars done 50000 m ) and some new pads . Was thinking of doing it my self what you think ?

dead easy. do a search as the full procedure has been posted many times.

Was going to get some new discs from bb and some tar ox . pads but did not want to spend around £ 60 for fit .

I was gonna say, Its dead easy if nothings seized, or breaks/rounds off.

its quite hard if its your first time, took me about a week to do, as i kept getting stuck and having to ask for help on here.

Could do it in about half hour both sides now, its very easy when you no how.

But make sure you have decent tools as well, that was half the problem mine were old and worn and kept slipping on the bolts, once i bought new ones they worked a treat.
