How long before laquer?

Been painting my side strips the last few days... just got the basecoat done today... how long should i leave before i can laquer them up?

lol iv just finishd doing this myself, i take it u want the spoiler to do the same then?

i left mine 1 night in a really warm room.
take your time lacquering tho, i got a couple runs in mine.

Yeh i want to colour code the spoiler to replace my existing one lol.

On the guide in the cliosports guide section it says leave 30 mins at least, its been a good hour or 2... can i not just laquer now?

im not sure, probly can, i just thought, i dont want to ruin it and have to start again so i left it overnight- just to be safe. altho im hardly an expert, im jus sayin that overnight workd for me!

If your not in any rush i'd leave it until tomorrow , but as long as it's dry you can lacquer it now .

Cheers for your help guys. I think ill either laquer them tomorrow or later on tonight (in a few hours). However, when i run my fingers along one i did about 2 hours ago i see something that looks like paint dust on my fingertips... but there dry. What is this?

It is dust , it's paint that's atomised into the air and settled on whatever you've painted . You could blow it off or get a tac cloth .

Oh cool, ill just wipe it down with a cloth before laquering. Cheers ... will probly go and give it some licks of laquer soon. Ill let you know how it goes.
