How long can you store tyres

Took my steel wheels off my clio to put on alloys about 2 years ago.

been in the garage ever since with brand new tyres on. do they rot or will they be ok.

They will be OK.................the first signs of deterioration is "cracking" on the sidewall.................if there isnt any (and there shouldnt be) then theyll be fine

Tyres sold as new can be up to seven years old! They must be stored on racks and no temperature extremes.

Hi!! dont know if anyone can help me, kinda new to all this!! I have an N reg williams that has got some damage to it. It had a bit of a collision with a kerb and needs new front and back axis. There are qa couple of scuffs on the alloys, dont know whether to sell her as she is or to take the engine out and sell it for the parts etc, any advise would be great!!!
