How long to take out a seat?

yeah. 2 should be just at the door sill, the other two were beside the heat shield. well on the cup it was. should all be covered by rubber gromits, but takes no more than 10 mins to undo all the bolts.

Aye piece of piss, you'll need an extension bar and maybe a deep reach socket would be easier as well.

Mind and disconnect the battery for 10 minutes before unclipping the wire bud

I need to remove the passenger seat to fit a amp. Is it eaiser to just take it off the runners, if so is there a guide, or unbolt the hold thing from below?

just unbolt it from below, 13mm deep reach socket, maybe an extension bar. probably takes longer to jack each side up and put on axle stands than to unbolt the seats.

I normally leave the battery off for 30 mins.

How are your seats fitted? subframes?

Recaro Pole postions, straight out of ColinG's old V6...So it should be a simple swap!

Bear i'll bring ma grinder, that boys plasma cutter and your maw can weld it all up, done n dusted in about half an hour..

I can even solder up the airbag connectors if need be..

It was my chest that stopped me from getting far enough under. However I think it may have been lowered at the time!

if they come with the subframes with the seats take just over an hour to fit.....well it did when I was fitting the recaros, the only thing I had to change were the runners over 5 min job though.

Ben_p - all my were loose too! :S
