How many coats of lacquer?

Ive painted my side strips today, 3 coats of primer, 2 coats of satin black and one coat of pearl black. How many coats of lacquer do you recommend?

3 thin ones should do it, make sure they are fully dry before doing the next coat and leave them overnight when complete to fully cure.

impossible to say. i would put plenty on so when you wetsand there is sufficient that dont burn through.

Im going to put 2 or 3 on I think. Im new to this spraying malarke but they look s**t hot!

Don't ruin it with the laquer then

I ruined one of the bump strips with a little blob so ive sanded it down and im starting again I want them to be as good as possible!
