How many Clio Cups are there out there then, is it right that only 500 where originally planned by Renault??

Guesstimate??

Im hoping that this car is a Special edition and may hold its prive well in the market

Yes its a special edition, just not a limited edition.

Theyre not holding their value that well though. Maybe in the future, but there have been too many sold with big discounts.

They were originally intended to be a 500 unit run, but then became a regular production model due to popularity.

The price of new Cups has actually increased in car supermarket places, renault are not doing so good deals as before.

In reality i still find the MK1 172 rarer than the MK2s and cups.. tho the williams is still the rareist of em all

Ok, so it was not made to a limited run of "x" number, but it WAS made for a limited period of time, so it is technically a limited edition. However, compared to models like the Williams it aint, so it depends how you define it...

Although there are obviously only 172 Exclusives, it would be very interesting to know how many there were of the other colours. How many yellow ones ? Ive seen more exclusives than yellow 172s and no red ones other than mine(not that that means a lot).

Does that mean my mk1 is a limited edition, as that was only made for a limited time too. And the Ford Escort. Limited to about 30 years

I heard somewhere that theyve sold about 1500 but they are going to be discontinued in there present form sometime next year. i think there will be cup options on the 182 though(spoilers etc). ps,you cant make a cup come with a good tongue flicking action and they dont taste funny!.never mind ive got a cup and our lass has got the clitoris-sorted.
