Whatever you do go through Topcashback / quidco - I got £140 after 3 months just for switching to Sky. ABout £40 a month for (s**t) internet currently 2mbps, phone, tv basic as you get.
£47 a month
All channels, sky sports, 200mb fibre
The only way to get it "cheap" is to keep switching between sky and virgin at the end of each contract and take up the new customer deals.f**king sucks! We pay near that for 50mb basic channels and a phone line we don't use. I'll be glad when the contract is up tbh.
I don't use my phone, how many providers will give me broadband (fibre) without it & the stupid line rental fee?
That includes phone line and free weekend calls. No use to anyone though as everyone has free calls from their mobiles these days£47 a month

Or just stick to freeview
Yeah it helps a fair bit, goes up to £67 after 12 monthHonestly we basically only have freeview channels anyway the only plus is the recording option, when contract is up thinking of just going for an internet package and getting some sort of tv recorder so we can keep track of the stuff we usually watch.
Will see when the time comes I guess, your deal was through the lad on here too iirc wonder how much that helps.
How would you cope without 4746362 episodes of top gear each day??I was about to cancel my sky as got a you view box for free from talktalk. But found out my aerial socket doesn't work FFS, and there is no Dave on freesat!!!
Do you mean freeview? Dave is on freeviewI was about to cancel my sky as got a you view box for free from talktalk. But found out my aerial socket doesn't work FFS, and there is no Dave on freesat!!!
Hit him where it hurts. Like your style.Thread just helped me sign a client, cheers CS.
Compared the cost of his insurance (protecting his kids) to the cost of his sky bill (TV) - he had no option but to say yes. Lol.
<3 CS.
I pay £78 a month for phone, 50mb broadband and TV package without Sky Sports or Movies.
We've realised that we watch f**k all on it really apart from the free view channels. When I get time I'm going to ring them and see what the basic TV and broadband package is.
Let me know what price they give you.
So how do we go about setting me up on an employee deal? :smirk:200mbps
XL TV no sports or movies
XL landline
1 TiVo and 1 V+ box
£25
I work for Virgin.

Cheers, should be free really but hey hoNice deal.
I've gotta say, the TiVo box is absolutely awful! Not impressed with it at all. If I could be arsed I'd ring up and moan about it
For new customers only no doubt? As everything is with virginAll I've gotta say there will be a new box, eventually
New!Are you an existing customer or would be a new? Virgin won't allow me to do existing, typical!

PM if your serious hahaNew!
Thanks to this thread I've just checked my sky package and apparently from February it's going up from £39.90 to £54!
17.50 line rental
7.50 broadband
30.00 variety package
f**k that its already gone up 10 quid plus some weird charge I got last month which I still can't figure out what for.
Think my contract ends in Feb so gonna cancel the TV package. I moved in November does that mean I've entered another year contract or not? My mum thinks I have.
