Renault Clio 172 Cup (2002)
96,000 miles£3,650
Renault Clio 172 Cup with mild trackday modifications.
96,000 miles but very well looked after with full service history, Renault to 60k, then GDI then independent, just had 96000 service, loads of receipts, cambelt at 60k, recent lower rear engine mount and excellent condition secondhand steering wheel, both common faults on 172s.
MOT and tax until end of October.
Trackday mods - Eibach Sportline springs, slight negative camber at front, recent Brembo Max front discs with Pagid pads, new Renault rear discs with Ferodo DS2500 pads, braided hoses (parts cost £650 plus labour to fit) = fade free and long lasting trackday brakes but still fine on the road.
Recent K-Tec Stealth stainless steel exhaust (cost £385), slightly louder than standard but still legal at any UK trackday at well under 90db.
I also have a spare set of as new 15" rims with hardly worn Toyo R888 195/50-15s, NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE but available if required for £300 extra.
In excellent condition for its age and mileage, capable of keeping up with your usual badly driven supercar at a trackday while returning 40mpg if driven gently on the road.
Only for sale as I need a tow car for my latest trackday toy.
