how much for fitting

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

im planning on fitting a new gearbox, clutch and willy track to the car. but at the min i aint got time to have a w**k with all the uni work.

How much would i be paying for a garage to fit it all do u reckon?

Id ring but a bit late now, and the guy i usually go to never says untill its done.

Cheers

When i got my box done it took them about 10 hours in total to remove, fit new box and refit and they charge 27.50 an hour. Id reckon youll be about 250-300quid m8.

BTW - ive just got my driveshafts to source for my willy track conversion - race ya to get it done first! ;) :D

probably as above.job is easier just to lift out the engine and then swap the box.would give you a price for me to do it but my engine cranes knackered.

hehe cool mate, u fitting urself?
Nah - ill putting it in somewhere to do. I work during the week and need the car for the weekends so cant risk it being off the road for too long or cocking it up by not having the right tools etc! Looking forward to getting it done like - will be interesting to see how noticablely better it actually is and looks...

Heh - just need a bit more power in the car and ill be smoking some william!!:D

u on 15s mate?
Yeah - phase1s like yours but in silver with 195/50s. Im going to use my k-tec (35mm) lowering springs to save some cash but a bit concerned that it may catch on full lock - i know some willy owners have this problem but others havent. My mate was down 60mm on his williams no bother with 185s so if all else fails some new boots might be needed too.....

wow, your a diamond mate. ill find out when i can fetch the bits from this geezer, and ill prob take u up on that. ill sort you out with a decent pay for the work mate, as it would be taking a lot of pressure off me attempting to do it or to have take it to a garage. Plus your local!

Cheers
