How much do people think would be a good price for my car?

its a 2.0 conversion now with only 21k miles on gbox only has about 6k on it

the car has been stripped as some know its a road legal track project useless wiring has been removed no cd player, the car looks the biz could do with 172 wings, i have all the interior to sell with the car, if someone wants it put back in, the car is reallllly quick as is i have a racing blue 182 cup and its no where near as quick and can be driven much much quicker

and a bonus is tax is only £100 a year and insurance is cheaper then a 172 so its good for any young lads im paying £850 im 22 with 2 years ncb with my gf on the plocy to which has only been driving a year.
oh and great mpg to less weight = better mpg

just looking to see what i could get for her looking for between £5k-£6k

no everything is down legit i have every mod down on my insurance with adrian flux.

ask anyone with a conversion done the tax rate stays the smae for some reason? i argued becoz i wouldnt believe it but i still pay £100 now, MOT's just been now in october went straight through, and yes insurance musnt go up to the same group for some reason aswell as its a 1.2 clio with a 2.0 renault engine in weird i know

Its a 53 reg so i'd say 4.5 to 5k considering you can get a genuine 172 for 5 to 6k.

yes but take into account its only got 20k miles 5k on gbox, around 5k in mods seats are brand new and over £1k alone, and tax and insurance is cheaper then a 172 so you'l also make money back that way

i know its not genuine and thats what makes it better its faster lesser miles then most and cheaper to run i wouldnt lower the price for that reason as i own both and i know which is better and which is worth the latter, and i expect someone who will want this car will know what there doing and know this

The problem with modified cars is that you'll never get back what the car owes you. But still, I could see someone buying this for maybe £5.5k, but I wouldnt say any more than that.

Looks gorgeous though. If I was a bit older and had a few years NCB under my belt, I snap this off you in an instant. Good luck with the sale.

Yes........ but you still cant expect top money for it. I know personally i wouldn't touch it. Yes there is a market for the car, but its very select. You may have just learnt that modding doesnt pay.

That 03 plate 182 conversion went for around £4k iirc so to be honest I'd expect upto £5k, nothing more.

I'd stick it up for 5.5 with the hope of getting between 5 and 5.2 for it. Good luck mate, I wish I was in the market for this, or had the money to convert mine .

Very nice car but as said modified is not good for resale.

Check Ross' car out 04 182 with low miles and 1000's on quality mods. I think its up for 7k and he still cant sell it.

I had a brief thought about getting rid of mine but I would take such a big loss on it, it isnt worth it. Decided to go all out and get ITBs instead.

I dont think I would have any more fun in something more powerful it would just be a costly status symbol.

yea im already having the idea, if i could get some storage for my car i would have it totally stripped acid dipped and built back up it is an option im just unsre yet hence the wait till feb/march

No denying that its a good car but as others have said only a select few would consider buying it. Even a genuine modded 1*2 would take a big hit when selling on. Hope you find a way of keeping it or someone who'll pay what you want.
