How much should i pay for a 1997 2.0ltr 16v megane engine? Been offered one for 475 + VAT but as im only really after the bottom end i dunno....

Its on 70000miles and taken from a 97 coupe....

That dont sound too bad considering i paid £950 for my Willy 3 engine on 55000 miles!!

Does that come with the loom n ECU too?

The scrappy is local to me and im seriously tempted but 475 is still a lot of money!

What would i get selling the head etc to regain some cash? Dunno if anyone would be interested in buying that stuff!
