That's better than CL10 LAD so easily £3k, reduced to £500 a week later.
I don’t have many/any pics TBH! I had to search for this one!
It’s a little dirty at the mo, will clean on the weekend and post some more.
They’re £137 each brand new at Demon Tweeks. I picked up a really clean set for £300 in Gloss Black (I got lucky I think). What’s a typical refurb these days, £50 a wheel? What’s a set of scabby 4x100 15 inch pro race 1.2’s worth?
I guess aswell as low mileage the condition of the cars - bodywork/underneath is also important when trying to gauge a price?I have a iceburg silver 52 172 with a mere 46k, bone stock standard 2 keepers and all belts replaced last year. Really clean honest car.
Any idea on prices
I was thinking around £4995.00. High mileage ones seem to be 3-4kI guess aswell as low mileage the condition of the cars - bodywork/underneath is also important when trying to gauge a price?
It's about time there was a bigger margin between the rough ones that have corrosion and rust underneath and good clean tidy examples!
Low miles & belts done, if its got no rust in the common areas and tidy underneath I'd say that was a great price.I was thinking around £4995.00. High mileage ones seem to be 3-4k
Yeah she's a clean rust free example. I think i'll pop it on ebay at the weekend.Low miles & belts done, if its got no rust in the common areas and tidy underneath I'd say that was a great price.

Mileage still under 60k. Just about to put a new battery on it also.
I'd say a round figure of £10k?
People will want them for 20p because it's what they paid 10 years ago mateOdd one I guess as it’s not a car, but I’ve been sifting through some odds and ends I have collected over the years and found a pile of new bits a pieces. All of this has been wrapped and boxed in the roof of the garage. Some of which is NLA.
One item is a genuine 172 (and 182 I believe) new old stock genuine steering rack in the Renault box.
The other is a set of brand new Cup lower arms.
I’ve got other stuff like Trophy washer blanks and odds and ends too.
How do I price these parts?

Came up last time I checked but I’ll call RPD or similar and reconfirm its fitment. Last check in 2015 it was £650 plus VAT. 😂Double-checked that part number on the steering rack for a 182 CUP and it's not coming up. So maybe check if it fits first.
Yeah, we have the Renault parts system here and couldn't pin it down to a CUP model. It mentioned motors or something in French, but it's likely to fit. We're not 100% sure.Came up last time I checked but I’ll call RPD or similar and reconfirm its fitment. Last check in 2015 it was £650 plus VAT. 😂

£2k tops. It wants some serious money spending just on the rust alone, then factor in the belts, you're looking at spending another £2k just to get it looking half decent again.I have a Clio 182 with both cup packs and good service history. Always been well cared for (mechanically and bodywork wise) and I’ve been the owner of it since 2011.
Due to now living abroad I no longer have the time or somewhere to store the Clio so thinking of putting it up for sale.
Unfortunately last year the alternator gave up so it will need a new one of those and I suppose the full timing belt/dephaser kit at the same time.
Rear arches have some small bubbles but not bad. Roof has some dents. Underside, suspension, brakes were refreshed back in 2020.
Below are some photos I took quickly today after taking off the cover it has been under.
What would it be worth now as is? What would you guys do with it - sell as is OR fix and sell?
