I gave £1200 for a clio 1.4 sport yesterday but on paper it owes me £750.
Say the car you were looking at was £4000, your car is worth £1500 but the dealer offers you £2000.
On his paperwork he will show your new car at £3500 and your part ex at £1500.
Thats how we minimise our VAT bills!

car benifits from:
driver and passenger airbags
cassette player (includes free mix tape)
6disc cd changer (as standard,under drivers seat)
half leather clio sport interior (drivers bolster little worn)
car handles really well as you would expect,seats are well supportive also.
im looking to buy a starlet gt turbo next,so would take p/x offers or swap offers also,gt or glanza i dont mind.

Two new bearings? Wow. Lol. People expect a car to be working. A long MOT is a plus point, but it's not going to get you extra money.
Not all cars are modified and yours is past the level that most go. This is also ClioSport, not everyone in the world is on here. The people you are looking for mostly want a more standard car. You might get lucky though. But this is what we all told you when you asked the same questions last time.

Sell the wheels. Get some standard OZ F1's. That should net you £300.
Try and swap the bonnet for another sunflower one, or at least just get one sprayed and sell the carbon one.
Standard exhaust would be better.
Get an oil cover thing.
I think you'd get £2500 standard. So by swapping bits you'll get more.
Obviously you know you're in a pain in the arse place. So you need to make that car stand out above everything else. Some people will travel all over for the right car, not many. Even fewer will travel that far for a car that needs work.

ive mainly had jap cars and not a great fan the clio modding world as its very different,so need another jap car.
btw the only mod i did to this car was buy strut braces,...there is some history,mot's and tax discs and some stamps in the book,little booklets ect,inc a spare key.

Limited history and modified like that screams chav/boy racer. That might not be you, but that's what it looks like.
Tidy it up. Get standard parts. Take lots of pics. Lots. Write a better advert. You'll have a lot more luck that way.
As it is, you'll struggle to sell at £2k.

On here if your car isn't the same as everyone elses it's s**t, so don't think you'l have much luck selling it modified the way it is on here.
Someone would easily swap standard wheels for your Turinis, you make a bit of cash, and make your car more sellable.
Seems like a car that would sell on ebay or possibly Autotrader.

Just bought myself a 182 and thought I'd see what you guys thought it was worth. I'll let you know if you were close to what I paid (or sit in the corner sobbing if I got a bad deal!)

86,000 Miles (High, but two prev. owners, first commuted Manchester to Leeds every day and put the miles on it, second owner bought it in January, had it all serviced, used it commute from Lincoln to Leeds, and then bought a track bike and lost interest, sold it to me)
Full service history, the first car I've ever bought that had every tax disc tucked into the service guide, serviced on interval.
At it's January (76,000) service it had:
Full service
New cam & aux belts
New front discs and pads
Aircon refresh
New front Exaltos
Tax & MOT'd till July '11
Rear bearings were going when I bought it, drove it from the guys house to the garage and had new rear bearings (thus discs) and pads.
Interior is perfect, slight wear in fabric on drivers seat.... steering wheel had none of the tell tale missing chunks. I thought at the time that it was as good as I was going to get, hope I was right!

Sorry to pester chaps, but any ideas? The car has FSH since I have owned it (2 years), it had none when it was bought. Recent timing belt change too (2 months ago) and two new front tyres, and both front discs/pads new too.
Citroen C2, 1.1LX, 55,000 miles, 04 plate, 2 owners from new., lots of reciepts for repairs made (lol), totally standard, couple of car park dings, but otherwise good condition for age. 10 months MOT, 4 months tax. How much is it worth?
