Been trying to sell it for a while now, had a bloke come a view it on the weekend, but no luck.

would take £3000 for it now but really cant go lower than that, i heard that nobody was buying cars but didn't think it would be this hard!!

From the pic's that looks beautiful. I think people would rather pay less for more average miles as opposed to more for uber low mileage nowadays.

I mean my Exclusive is around 79,600 and I'm selling at £2700. So yours is fairly priced imo.

End of the day it's a buyers market and you can find cheaper on this forum it seems.

i know you can find cheaper but the speedlines have got to be worth about £300-£400 alone, so your getting a 46k ph1 for about £2600

That's the thing, to a new cs buyer it's just another set of wheels, to someone in the know it's worth more. So if you can put the original wheels on you should look into selling the current ones.

Right, car will be going END of July/ start of August and I'm not sure what to ask for it.

51 plate 172, will be under 85k miles.
Cambelt done not too long ago, service history, and done regulary by me (may be done before the sale)
Mot - March 2010, Tax - Sept 09
Few dings as you would expect but nothing major, being honest you can crunch into 3rd when giving it the beans and do a fast change (common problem I gather)

Mods - I.K, RStuner remap, K-tec stealth 2.5" stainless cat back, Lowered 40mm on apex. Black 172 wheels with toyo t1-r's all in good nick.
Few subtle mods with badges etc.
Interior in good nick and all the electrics work lol
Pics below... So a rough idea on what its worth please guys?

Oh almost forgot, new discs and pads fitted by me last august, and 2 new front suspension top mounts fitted around december time.

So im thinkng about getting a new car need something bigger. Its rare iceberg silver has rare 16" f1s lowered 35mm, tv dvd head unit, stainless steal system (stealth), and a few little extras here and there.

o and is under average milage for age at 66k and has just had a brand new ali rad put in

Its a 2002 in Monaco blue and has done 85k.

Its got 4 service stamps in the book, then one service reciept from an independant garage and then for it's 6th service I did myself, kept reciepts of oil (fully sinthetic), oil filter and air filter, spark plugs. That was 5k ago.

A month ago i bought a set of Speedline Turinis, from a 172 Cup. They had new tyres on and cost £420 and since then I have had them professionally refurbed at a cost of £207.

Apart from the wheels its got a Civic type R aerial, Jetex metal panel air filter inside original airbox (£40), clear side repeaters from a 2004 172 (£30) and it's lowered on Eibach Sportlines (£200 fitted).

Major Cambelt change was done at 69k.

Excellent condition, think pictures show it has always been pampered!

rite i can get a T reg 1.6 16v clio but was wondering what everyone thought it would be worth? its got around 88k on clocks but has done more than this because the speedo/rev counter/ radio dosent work. bearing this in mind and a few other problems that need sorting like an engine mount and bal joint, what should i be paying for it?

any help much appreciated

54 plate 182 in arctic blue with parrot bluetooth MP3 handsfree,sony head unit with USB lead for ipod or mp3 in glove box,front speakers changed for alpine standard fits.(orig radio and speakers come with car) All 4 wheels refurbed this week. Screen replaced this week.2 recent bridgestones on front and two ok mich exalto on rear. K tec front splitter. 44k full history-aux belt kit and front pads done at 36k always used mobil 1. VW technician owned for past 16 month 2nd owner. has stone chip in bonnet and a scratch by scuttle panel but not big whatsoever. boot net,fitted mats but drivers worn on heel. had intrim oil change 2 week ago and replaced coolant and cap. always gen parts used all reciepts to prove. Mature driver still needs running in! whats it worth then?? dont make me cry!

Getting belts and service done soon. Its got a scuff on the back bumper but other that its in good condition, steering wheel is fine at the moment.

Its got Gaz coilovers and a full exhaust system fitted

Ive been thinking about selling my car and tbh with the way the things are atm im a bit confused to what sort of price i should be asking, been on auto trader and prices go from 800 through to 1900 for the same car. Anyone help me out a little

Well I have my eye on a S1 Exige keeping the clio seems a tad pointless, but if the money is right she can go.

surely its worth running her for a few months first, reep the rewards now she's running properly? - to answer your question, personally i would pay 4k, so maybe put it up for anything between 4-5k
