I'm on ebay looking at the closed auction list, so this is clio 182s that actually SOLD. Granted they dont have a turbo, but all were running motors..

05 RB cup - 34k miles 5.6k
54 BG with cup packs- 52k miles 5.2k
05 BG with cup packs- 82k miles 4.2k
04 BG no cup- 43k miles 4k
05 silver with cup packs- CAT D - 3.2k

I will be realistic when selling, but wont sell too cheap as I still have option of fixing. Think i will have to make a big loss though.

your best bet is going to be to fix it, you wont get a decent price for it if its faulty, no chance.

it is worth 6k max imo. but tbh, i'd avoid it like the plague as it sounds like a right nightmare.

all these tuned clios are. people who are really into clios are on this iste, they all know that a lot of modified clios are a right pain in the arse and these people are ost likely your main buyers.

I'll never modify another car again (*touch wood), in no hurry to sell so may leave it a few weeks on ebay and try and source parts in parallel. I think you guys are right, although it could be a bargain for a decent mechanic.

When fixed i think it will get £7.5k, i wanted £8.5k, but was prepared to drop to this.

As for price unfixed, it depends on what mood I am in when you put the cash in my hand.

Its just had new belts, pulleys tensioners, vvt actuator plus loads more.

I am unsure if you can just use the same belts again as they have covered less than 1000 miles. You could get a head for anywhere between £50 and £705 (brand new ported one I just saw on the bay). I dont know the full price of the job as I have never done it. If i repaired myself I would not cut any corners.

I would miss a couple of classes a week and fix it yourself,you will never get anywhere near what you want otherwise,

Being brutally honest- noone is going to touch that- with that bonnet especially-

put the standard bonnet back on, put the standard alloys back on & list it for 2.7k ish or around 3k if its had the belts done-

You are narrowing your market down to those who want to buy something modified, and with the style of modification you have gone for this market will be very small.

Mate- I took 2 mins to help you sell it- I wasnt knocking your taste-

THe bonnet on the car will isolate your market to a very few- its hard enough to sell a silver 172 without minimising your audience even more-

How much is my motor worth, not had it long but toying with buying a diesel.

Car is a 1.6 Clio Dynamique, 54 plater registed in Feb 05, has done 41000 miles, fully colour coded with cup spoiler and all wheels uncurbed with good tyres.
Has just been serviced at Parks Dunfermline and has new Mintex pads and disks on the front as well as new pads disks on the back.

How much should I be selling for?

I am looking for a valuation on a Black Gold 182 with both cup packs.
Registered in January 2006 with 14500 miles only on the clock.
Still has factory fitted CD autochanger and luggage net.
Great swirl free paint and immaculate interior with new genuine Renaultsport mats.
Eibach sportline springs fitted in the last month.
It also has the benefit of the balance of a transferable three year Gold warranty supplied when I bought the car.
There is 30 months left on this.
A fantastic unmolested example that took me many months to find.

Whats it worth?

Right due to the timing jumping i'm thinking about selling the cilo for something non french. So wondering what people think its worth?

About 80,000 miles.
Fairly clean odd mark here and there.
Interior is clean and was professinally valeted about a month ago.
Some service history.
Dyno'd when i first bought it at 166bhp before servicing it or any mods.

Engine Mods:
K-Tec Stealth System - Only done about 200miles.
182 Manifold (heatwrapped) & K-Tec Decat Pipe.
Magnecor 8.5mm Red HT Leads.
Iridium Spark Plugs.
KTR Engine Mount & Gearbox Mount.
Polybush Lower Engine Bushes.
ITG Panel Filter.
Samco Induction Hose.

All fitted within a week of it giving up the ghost.

Brakes Mods:
KTR Front & Rear Updated Discs.
Red Stuff Pads All Round.

Everything else on the car is standard.
Just Been Serviced.. Engine Oil, Gearbox Oil, Plugs, Leads, Belts & Tensioners(but ovo need changed now)

NEVER ABUSED COLD...
