Hmmm, not too sure about yours fella.

But mine, Extreme 4 (9800 miles):

Cost New ('05) £ 8777
Franchised Dealer £ 7040
Independent Dealer £ 6625
Private Good £ 5640
Private Poor £ 4500
Part Exchange £ 5125

Bearing in mind I sold my 172 53 reg last November for £7600 and that was totally mint with 14,500 miles on the clock! Didn't get any interest in it at anything over that price.
Just thought I'd mention it lol!!

An 04 reg 172 must have been a really late one though considering the 182s came out on that plate.

^^^ I've got an '04 plate 172 first registered 2nd April 2004! Don't think there's too many after then.

Book price is one thing, the market is full of them and with import 182's around the same price its tough getting rid for the higher money.

  2004 182 Black Gold
Agree with AlexJMills, I sold mine October 2004 (53 Plate Jan 04 Reg) 9k on the clock for £7,800.

My 2002 51 plate with 31k on was £6400 in September. That was a good price though and it is probably still worth that now. I'd say about £7200 for a quick sale.

i paid £6400 for our 51 plate with 22k on the clock with full history one owner - was up for just under £7000 but needed 2 tyres and the wheels are a bit kerbed

other than that you'd think it was brand new - exterior & interior is absolutely un-marked
