I''m 37, it is garaged, second car, 3k miles limited, full NCB, clean license.

Just wondering - I'm slightly younger at 36 with 6 years NCD and clean licence, but I'm limited to I think 6k miles and I use it for commuting (only 3 miles a day though), not garaged but my girlfriend is also on too (though that only added £30).

Lol all these clios on tick! What happened to all the highrollers? Fvcking nutters paying £300 on insurance a month. I got a quote for a Gallardo and that was only £900 p/a.

insurance - £42 (paid yearly)
petrol £220
tax and bits n bobs - £20
cleaning polishin etc - £0
Total - £282

Buying a car on finance can make sense but only if the interest rate is low, say up 6%. I know some people pay up to 25 or even 30% with a Credit Card, that is madness.

  Fiesta Zetec S TDCi
Only had it a few weeks but so far I'm going with (per month)

Insurance £60
Tax £20 (theoretically I'm putting it aside)
Servicing £30 (as above)
Petrol £300
Magic Tree £1.99

  Peugeot 308
Petrol - £50
Tax - £20
Insurance - £80

Total - £150

Although I do spunk money on bits for it most months...

  Iceberg 172
I pay a lot on my insurance due to some points and a bump but a Saxo VTS would of cost pretty much the same to insure hence keeping the Clio which was a downgrade from what I had before (TT).

So...

Tax - £20
Insurance - £180
Petrol - £200
Servicing - £100 (Set of tyres, servicing etc)

So about £500 probably. Sometimes more on petrol sometimes less and plus mods.

Depends on how quickly you are planning on paying it off.

Tax - £20
Insurance - £48
Petrol - £200ish, can vary greatly.
Servicing - £50 or thereabouts
No loan/cc payments for me (thank god, some of you lot on here are mad!)

Insurance: £95
Petrol: Around £200, depending on how many Charlton home games there are that month
Loan repayment: £144

Total: £439

Although I get paid 13 times a year so I get let off of insurance and loan payments once a year = more money in my bank for those 4 weeks!

  Giulietta 940
Insurance: £88
Petrol: £100 (maybe more if I go back "home" to London on the weekend)
Servicing/fixing stuff: £150
Tax: £20ish

Total: £358. I didn't realise it was that much to be honest.

  tiTTy & SV650
My 8 year old 172 has cost me £5.65 / day - £169.50 / month over the last 3 months.

There are some seriously crazy people on here! Paying more a month for a clio than the cost of a morgage on a house!! Money to burn or what!!

  197 FF
Prob £100 fuel - max
Tax - had 12mnth when I bought it so nothing until July
Insurance - £45 -renewal is £450 next year
that's it unless things need fixing, still having a mortgage to pay means I need to keep costs down, hence why I am thinking of changing for something half insurance and tax

I love cars but hate paying and depreciation they are just a money pit

£30 petrol

Insurance (£807 ffs!!) & tax (£5million iirc) paid all at once.

Costing me a bladdy fortune!
