how much weight

how much weight will my car safely carry, got an 200 mile trip planned in a few weeks and theres gonna be 4 people in with a combined weight of approx 70 stone (445kg) and also luggage n stuff, guessing around another 100 kg. will it handle this ok or will the tyres scrub? (standard suspension) thanks.

I had 5 people in, with two big bags in my boot and my suspension was crying at me for the whole 5 minute journey...

only lowered on eibach's on standard shocks too..


say the 5 passengers had a combined weight of aboout 80 stone..

i had 5 people and a load of footy kit in the boot once! drove bout 10 miles car seamed fine(wouldnt have looked to go on a longer journey tho)! i got h & r coilovers and its set quite low too!!

thanks, guessing mine should be fine then on the standard suspension.
