How much will Renault charge for a new clutch cable?

Mines still creaking and squeaking still, Martins Renault oiled it up, but it's made no difference whatsoever :dapprove:

If she keeps on playing up i shall be joining the darkside very soon.

its under 1 hour labour (i can do them in about 30min, but cut my hands to pieces and HATE doing them)

Well i'd normally take her to Mike at Rentech, but at the moment he's really busy, and the creakings driving me mad.

Fletch ive recently had a clutch changed on my 04 182 it was really smooth for about 1k miles now since this hot weather spell it has gone horrible it is SO creaky and seems notchy one minute then is completely fine the next seems so random but very frequent! I hope it is the cable and not another new clutch which IMO seems ridiculous....

Can anyone confirm that it is the cable that needs attention and not the clutch itself??

Hi Fred yeah BBPT are my nearest place am wondering whether I can get it done under warranty seeing as they just changed the clutch a couple of months back..

I'm based in Chandler's Ford, near Southampton, so my local Renault specialist is Mike at Rentech.

My clutch does the same thing as yours, one minute it's fine the next it feels really rough and noisey.
