How tappy should a K reg clio be?

1.4 RT, when i start it up from cold it idles at higher revs than usual, for a little while until warmed up

it taps

theres a squealing noise coming from under bonnet. when i push clutch down, sometimes it stops completely, sometimes the squeaking gets higher pitched. again this is starting from cold. but when it warms up it usualy stops...

any ideas?

i mean it is a K so its gettin on a bit

Higher revs and tapping are normal from cold.

Belt....dunno.

could be release bearing on clutch, the energy engine is a naturally tappy engine, it will idle at higher revs until it warms so thats normal too. you sure the squeek doesnt stop when you rev it more? if so fan belt wants tightening

its stop when it heats up. as far as im aware it doesnt change when i rev engine. and it does the same squeaking when i set of sometimes, if i set of quickly, wihtout wheelspinning lol, if the clutch is not fully up....... hmmm lol, everything else sounds normal now. cheers gang

it's all the water and salt making it noisy.
