How to attach Amp to back seats

I had an amp put in by a professional but now after 2 months it has fallen off the mounting it was stuck onto, which is attached to the back of the back seat. I thought I could just re-fasten it with some velcro, but there is no backboard to the back seats at all - its just carpet followed by springs & fabric.

The amp is stuck to a piece of MDF, but the MDF wont stick to the flimsy carpet of the back seats because the weight of the amp keeps pulling it off.

Surely some other people have experienced this too (I mean its the clios cheap seats that are causing the problem!) - does anyone have any solutions or work-arounds?

plasterboard fixings? Never done it in the clio. Used woodscrews in my 306

Can you get behind the carpet?

Slide the MDF under the carpet and screw the amp to it.
Id just 2 1inch battens tho, rather than a slab of mdf.

So, have summat like:-

Foam/Springs | MDF | Carpet | Amp
