How to change pads and disks

  GW RS200
Is it easy to change pads and discs, and do u need any special tools? Never tried it before, but at 31, thought it was something I should really learn to do!!

To change the front pads you need a 17mm spanner and 13 mm spanner . To change the front discs you need to take off the caliper , 2 x 3/8's bolts holding it on so you need a 3/8's socket and ratchet . Holding the front disc on is a torx screw ,can't remember off the top of my head what size torx it is , its either 25,30 or 40 . If you buy a torx bit set you'll have the right one .Your better off getting a haynes manual , they don't do one for the 172/182's but the one for the clios covers most other things , also you'll need a brake bleeding kit . Eezibleed one man kits from halfords would be the best for you to use .

Zeds guide below is for a pug 306 but its the exact same method for a clio .

Rear discs as fubars guide below .I can't remember what size bolts they are on the rears to change the pads .
