How to clean ITG panel filter

Just wondering how to clean an ITG panel filter, is it just soapy water? Do I need to brush it out etc?

I've got some of the ITG filter sealent on its way so need to get it cleaned before hand

Petrol is a very useful cleaner for foam air filters.

There is a guide on the ITG website you can download though.
