How to completely remove the dash?

So my cage is on order, and as it's NOT a dash dodger, the dash has to come out.

I'm at this stage so far:

Question is, how to I progress further? How do I remove the main bulky bit with the centre controls and glove box?

Thanks for any help :)

Never mind, an afternoon of persistence got me there!

But now my dials don't work :( Any ideas?

Also, I wouldnt mind removing that metal 'cage' thing. But I notice the steering column looks to be supported by it. Can you take this out without affecting the steering?

Out of interest, where are you getting your cage from? I'm after a non dash dodging cage myself :)

Bomber...the steel bar thing is out. The steering column is supported by another chunk of metal, so it's ok :)

I've ordered the full club cage from customcages.co.uk.

Came to just under £600 delivered, with a couple of extra bars. Now comes the waiting :(
