How to create a DVD

My mate has a DV mini cam and HAS A FILM OF HIS HOLIDAY HE WANTS TO PUT ON A DVD
He has tried to do it as a vcd but its too big and hes been using windows movie maker but that saves in wma which is no good for a dvd

Anyone help point him in the right direction a program or way to do it in idiot mode would be appreciated (he'll kill me if he reads this)

Download if you can Nero 7, in there is a program called nero vision, with that you can basically add each video file to the DVD and create chapters, menus etc...

Another free ish version is TMPGEnc DVD Author which can be downloaded from here (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tda.html) - this does the same thing apart from its not as good imo as nero.

Btw he has got a dvd re writer hasnt he?
