how to fit clutch cable

i need to replace the clutch cable on my mk2 172 it has now gone for a second time leaving me with a squeking/jerky pedle and a heavier clutch action. I need to know how to fit one of these as im sure it wasnt done properly last time round (needs changing only 12months on). Is this a job that is easy to do or is it best left to a garage? and if so what kind of labour charges should i be looking at for this? The car is a 2002 mk2 172

Ive never heard of many clucth cables going Id guess the last one might not have been installed right.

If its anything like the Mk1 Clios its not to bad to do it yourself maybe 2hrs if you take yor time. Practic you could probably get it in 3/4 hr.

Try to add some grease rather than change the whole thing. Better remove the induction box and add around there.
