Poor persons stealth shelf! just stretch black or grey material over the parcel shelf and staple or use spray adhesive to secure it.

PS 6x9s are the work of the devil! get a new parcel shelf and just upgrade your standard speakers.... OEM styleeee:cool:

Take the speakers out.

Mount them from underneath instead.

Get some black accoustic carpet and some carpet glue from ebay/halfords/superdrug.

Cover shelf.

Done.

I think some of the lower end models didn't have speakers in the back, but you should have the wire.

Get some co ax speakers in the back and a set of components in the front and a hefty sub in the boot. POW!

I really dont get why people wanna moun t speakers on the parcel shelf. You are sat in the front of the car and got s**t sounding music coming from behind you. As said above get a decent set of components

6x9's are w**k. The last thing you want is more volume coming from behind you than from in front. Best way to ruin your soundstage.

Terrible plan. Get rid of them and put your parcel shelf back in.
