You have to remove the door card(trim), this is fairly easy to do, once you have removed the trim you will find that the handle is held in place by two 10mm nuts, once undone you will have to get the handle at the rite angle to get it out, you can also remove the link rod at this stage.
Its not a hard job to do but just be carefull and dont force it out.
When the handle is out, is there a great big hole or summin, cos i may have to leave the car for a while, while i spray it all propperly etc. would it it be safe etc??
Get some from a scrappy then you wont have this problem and if you feck it up youve got some spares surely cant be much to buy , what colour is your car you may be able to get some already colour coded think the newer clios/meganes have them as standard
