How to remove ECU metal cover?

Am I right in thinking the metal case bit that covers the connectors on top of the ECU just pulls off?
I can't for the life of me get it off.

Yep. Proper c**t to do but it slides off. There's a clip round the back you need to make sure isnt catching.

X2 they almost all snap no idea y mine has not lol

The covers are a c**t to take off as said disconnect ur battery and get mediaeval on it lol

That's not my pic , I 'borrowed' it from a thread that came up when I initially searched!

Brute force is the way, get a big flathead screwdriver and pry it open. No need to disconnect battery, well I didn't need to anyway.
