How to remove residue around sticker?

A previous owner has polished my car and theres polish/wax residue around the williams stickers, how do i get rid of this without damaging the sticker?

Time consuming then! its a valver that someone has made into a replica, i really should just pull them off but i like them (they are genuine renault ones! which were over £100 when they were available!)
