if you have an amp you could use an aux to phono cable lead, plug into the amp and wire the amp to the speakers via the radio iso plug. thats one way anyway...

What is it with this place and s**t advice FFS!

Just buy a connects2 adapter for £30, turns your disc changer input on the tuner list into an Aux input.

The op's post isnt thtat clear tbh - does he mean he wants just an aux and no radio, or an aux adapter....

If the no radio option it will need to be amped before speakers, if keep radio then will just be an aux cable - id say the post about the amp was clearer than op tbh

I guessed that he didn't realise you only need a £30 box to do it, rather than try and mount an amp somewhere and spend £100 on an amp, then have to run speaker wires to it etc..

Just by the connects2 makes so much more sense.........oh wait this is CS.........

£100 for an amp? maybe in 1995 before ebay or gumtree existed. for a 2nd hand one £25/£35 tops. theres more than one way of doing things and i assumed the ' scrapper ' comment meant his head unit was busted.

*sigh* some people have ZERO internet manners on forums.

Or u cld buy the autoleads cable for like £7 :p

Not with a tuner list......

£100 for an amp? what century you living in? ebay or gumtree for a 2nd hand one £25/£35 tops. theres more than one way of doing things and i assumed the ' scrapper ' comment meant his head unit was busted. Jees some people have ZERO internet manners on forums.

I'm not cheap so I'd buy a brand new amp, even so I'd rather pay £20 for a head unit and £30 for the connects 2 to have a proper solution rather than a bodge.

When you've been here as long as I have manners go out the window with the amount of terrible, terrible advice that is given.

yeah but i said if he had an amp, so cost wouldnt be £100 would it, cost would be zero.

an amp uses phono inputs, seen plenty of cars that have an iphone etc linked straight to it over a headunit. my mates show car bmw has an ipad for a headunit.

terrible advice is tip-exing a f4r cam belt change not what i said

i understand where youre coming from though with the bad advice and age lol, but veteran forum members still need to remember that manners cost nothing
