How would this work? Dials alteration kit

It's supposed to give a white background to the dials and then make them light up blue and red when the lights are on. Yet it says you don't change any bulbs or anything. Would this actually work?

I would prefer to do the LED conversion on my current dials so I could get it how I want it but it sounds a bit difficult. Does anyone know about this kit?

It's a full cluster replacement dude. Take out old dials, replace with new dials.

In that case, what would happen about the mileage readout? Still be the same I assume?

Yeah it gets that from the ecu mate.

No these dials slip over the needles and sit over the top of the existing dials.

The mileage screen is unaffected because there is a cut out and the screen just shows through.

I have a guide in the guides section from when I ran them on my old 1.2.

Yeah, they're overlays for your existing dials. Search 'plasma dials' on here.

Yeah they're overlays. If it was a full cluster replacement, the mileage wouldn't correct itself off the ECU either, just for future reference.
