I want to buy the Mrs a notebook for after she has had the baby as I don't want her poking around my vast collection of midget/animal p**n.

Was looking at the EEE's from the other thread and although they make sense for travelling about she isn't going to be doing that much. I would ideally like to be able to use it myself for taking away etc. Seems to have good reviews but I would uninstall Vista and put on XP instead. Anyone have or use one?

I know Celeron aren't the best but it's not going to be running anything too serious. Mainly for photos, internet etc. That Dell is better than yesterday's deal though. No Quidco either!

Celerons are useless, they REALLY are, for ANYTHING. If you buy a laptop with a Celeron CPU, what you have in effect bought is an expensive paper weight.
