Hpi check using vin number?

Is it possible? And which company should I use?

As far as I know you have to have a vin number to hpi and I would use hpi to do it I did when I brought my 182 it's like £20 but it seemed like the only one to check everything you need you also need logbook number to get they're guarantee

Don't think it's possible using only VIN number,registration required also

It is 100% possible with just a vin. Done it for years on hpi site

Isn't it done with V5 Ref and reg?

There are various levels of check you can get on checks the v5 document but you can get a standard hpi using vin or current reg
