possibly series link?

I know that in the last couple of weeks the new software has been downloaded and it contains series link. I haven't got one, my dad has and he couldn't find out any info about it either.

i dug around the humax website, and the only symbol i could find in the manual that looked like it, suggested that it means there has been an error during recording. the manual is black and white though, so i dont know if that is definitely what it means.

Yep it is the symbol to tell you that it did not record all of the program that was reserved, it can happen if there is a power interruption to your hummy, such as a power cut or maybe if there was an OTA update while the box was recording, which usually results in the box rebooting itself, although thinking about it i'm not sure if an OTA update will proceed if the box is recording, what time did it happen on the 20th?.

i think i know why it has happend.

i had one recording from 20:00 - 21:00 (with a 5 min runover)
then two recordings from 21:00 onwards

so, due to it only having two tuners, it has to cut two recordings short to get both programs.

I'm surprised it never warned you that a recording will overrun into 2 new reservations when setting them from the EPG, i never use the padding feature, instead i might reserve the following program to the one i want just in case it cuts the end off(which happens so often, stupid EPG).
