a 2litre 16v into my RT

Megane 2litre bottom end and valver head

and a whole lot of GDI/AWT tomfoolery lol

at banger racing the other day, they had some wicked super wide arch clios with 2litre cossie engines and rear wheel drive, slammed to the floor and on tiny wheels. hot rod class iirc

Most engine have been done there a twin engined Williams there a Escort Cosworth (most of the floor panel was welded in though so you could call it a Cossie with a Clio on top).

A V6 or V8 is or was being being done.

The Volvo 1.7 turbo has been done

The 1.4 Gtt engine has ben done.

2.0 are reasonabley common.

A 172 engine has beeen fitted.

I went for a 2.0 16v williams engine as it was vertually a straight swap and therefore the labour was pretty well priced!!!

If i had lots of spare wonga and wanted to keep the clio for a long time i would have invested in the 172 conversion which i hear is quite pricey to have done!!!

5 turbo engine would be good but then youve got the hassle of it being off the road more than its on!!!

i think im gonna go for a 5 turbo engine next summer (in the boot) try and make try reliable !!! and build a donut machine
