I’ve got a Clio 203 ..

met this guy on Sunday at a petrol station who had a silver 182 (from what I could see!). I was like "nice car mate" etc, he asked me if I got the 182 or the 203.. as HIS was a "very rare 203 bhp model"... "ok mate" Im thinking.

Is this one of those people who has to have one up on everyone else and talks sh*te, or have I missed something in my renaultsport history lesson!?

Probably a LAD car. They tunned the cars to a 200hp+ and sold them throught the normal dealerships with full Renault warenties.
If it is a LAD tunned cars then the 200hp bit is very dubious they wont put there cars to the test on an independant RR and many people whos cars theyve tunned are no faster than standard.
LADs reputation on ere along with other forums is very poor jsut do a search.

I really hate people that make stuff up or think they know something when its a completely pile of arse!!

Should of asked him to take you for a spin then just exclaimed This is b****cks, glad I didnt waste my money on this over my 182!!!! That would have made him look sheepish.

Alsos surely wouldnt Renault call is a 202 just to keep in line with 1?2s???
