I've got one fitted to my 172 Mk1. Also got a powerflow exhaust (quietest backbox they could supply) and it's still loud and sounds good.

it is a 2.75 inch straight through system, the system was 330 from longlife, and the de cat was 150 from k-tec.
Highly recommended, it drives and sounds like a completely different car now, pops and bangs on over run, really raspy when you hit 6000rpm, and is quite possibly the best purchase i've ever made!!!

Got a Janspeed sports cat on my 172 and that's made a nice improvement in noise...kinda glad a didn't get a full decat as it sounds pretty damn loud!

ive got the stealth system and a jan spped cat not a de cat and thats fairly loud but does sound good
