I can drive again!!!!

right ill tell the story,
Christmas time last year i was out on the works do. Hollie (my girlfriend) said to me that she didnt want to come out as she had loads of stuff to do, any way it got to about 8 oclock and she phoned me saying that she wanted to come out for a little while and that she would drive.... I agreed. At about 8.30 i ran out of money so i left the pub and walked ip the road to the bank, just as i got to the top of the road hollie came round the corner in her car and pomped the horn so i turned round and walked over to see her to tell her that id meet her inside. As i got down there she was strudeling to parallel park all the traffic was backed up this one way street so i told her she had to reverse park it, she tryed but couldnt do it and the more she tried the worse it got. She turned to me basically in tears and asked if i could do it, so me being the hero stepped in to the car and did no problems, it took less than 10 sec.
By this time thow the traffic had backed up on to the main street and the police walked down to see what the problem was at which point who was getting out the car.........ME so they asked the usual questions... have you been drinking of which i obviously had so they took a breath sample with was border line so they said i would have to go down to the station. (i tryed to explain what id done and that i was trying to releave the traffic but they were having none of it).
Anyway got to the station and failed the test so i got nicked and had to appear in court on the 5th of jan. I appelaed in court and it got it ajurned then i went back again and it got ajurned once more so on the 6th of may i went back again but this time it was like a trial, the police had to give statments as did i and hollie. It was quite funny really my solicitor ripped the police appart and made them look like idiots. The magistrates let me of for the drink driving charge but because i was under 25 i got done for driving with no insurance as it was in hollies car (i even had fully comp insurance of my own) i got 6 points for the no insurance and i already had 6 so i got banned for a TT99 (totter of 12 Points)
Anyway lesson lerned......... Tell hollie not to come and pick me up in future! ha

Yea well there are a few ways of looking at it isnt there.
1. perhaps i was a little hard done by
2. i could have been worse, i could have had a min 12 month month ban for drink driving and a even higher premium than i have now.
3. i should have had more sense not to get in the car in the first place.
Which ever way you look at it i put my self in the situation in the first place.
yeah we are still together she has been my personnal taxi for the 6th months.
to be honest i never proparly read the policy i just assumed being fully comp enabled me to drive other cars....
im 22 by the way.
Danny, yeah buddy ill come over. Been out in her all day.. there are a few things that need changing but on the hole its a good one.
