hi all,
the last couple of weeks ive been hearing a funny noise at certain revs.. Sounds just like a part of the exhaust on its way out... Well, kinda been living with it as its not too bad.... Today put some more oil in her and leant on a bit of the engine at the front of the bay and it wobbled!!.. now i dont know the name of it as im crap with all that but my car is a 172 cup and its right at the front of the engine, nearest me, in the middle.. its like a square block of iron about maybe half a foot wide by quarter foot thick(away from me) and it has a couple of thinkish pipes going into it... it has like a few crosses wedged into it... you cant miss it... and its really wobbly if you touch it!... it moves around all over the place.. i did a little rev with the bonet up and realise its that making the noise!.. so, whats happened?? is my car going to explode now! shouldnt i drive it??.. it drives perfect though...
