I love my cup

  Ph1 172
As much as i hate to say it, i really like the new focus st. it seems to have all the right things for a perfect front wheel drive car, and have been wondering about swapping the cup lol.

however today on a certain piece of road at a certain time ;-) the cup proved to me why i love my renault so much :-o. lets jus say he did'nt pull at all on me untill in three figures, and i thought these were meant to be mentally fast.
maybe i wanna keep tin can after all ;-D

Well the ST has 160bhp per tonne (so less than a cup) but 320nm of torque, but has a kerb weight of around 1375kg's..... so Mentally fast? 0-60 is 6.9, 0-100 17.0? so slower than a cup......
Being a Turbo though I would imagin there is plenty of power you can extract from it yet? :)

I must admit I was thinking about going for a Focus ST at some point, but just like you, every time I think the Clio is getting a bit boring, it finds a way to remind me why it's so fantastic!!!

  Clio 172 Cup
A friend of mine has bought a Fiesta ST. It is rather nice and I do like it. He said it does have some "girlie" features, which is a down side for him, but overall I think he is rather impressed with it.

But I still think my cup is better hehe!!

Fiesta ST is a great car, mate just got one.

Not in the same performance league as a 172 though.

Hmm, so the ST has "all the right things for a perfect FWD car" does it?

Nose heavy? Turbocharged? Heavy? Softly sprung?

Sorry, not convinced, even though it does seem to be trendy to empty ones balls over thoughts of that quite frankly fugly car at the moment.
