i need a power cap

In my opinion they are a waste of money. How about a bigger battery instead. About the same price and twice as effective.

well i just got 2 alpine type r subs an a m500 alpine amp

bass junkies reckon i should get a power cap as soon as possible. why do u think i should get a bigger battery?

i just got a power cap from maplin! 50% off! (£50) orderd on line at 4pm and was on my doorstep at 10am next day and it didnt cost any thin for delivery! well chuffed!

but it aint made much diff to my light fade so i gettin a yellow top battery

bull sh*t i got a cap for ma mrd m500 and it really helps better bass and now subs dont draw all power out ma battery which w
as making my other amp running components distort well worthy 50 quid if they do jack sh*t y every 1 with demanding ice have 1

im not having a dig but when u can get a cap for 50 quid and just for a mrd m500 amp which iv not long done its worked a treat id still say if ur doing alot more depending on car get an altinator mines only puts out like 70 amp or summit cause if uv got a big bat you still need to power it dont u

you should not need a cap for that one amp, i was running two reasonably high powered amps off my standard battery, never had any issues, a bigger capacity battery is a better option

plus id never listen to a word bass junkies say, theyre only after your money

The most logical thing I heard on this subject, you cant get out more than you put in, no matter what you do.

Hence a cap will keep the power levels smoother but ultimatly you need a more powerful alternator and battery.

ok what about a power cap, better battery and more powerfull alternator!

will just see how it is off the standard battery an alternator!if i get any probs will look into it a bit more!

How do u think they charge them selves , off ur battery thats how so ur draing even more power from the batt

uprated alternator or better/bigger batt is the only way

Demo cars run them cos its something else they can sell to jo bloggs in there shops
