i now have a pink windscreen...

for those of you who dont know...

on sunday at santa pod, i broke my windscreen putting my mirror back on after removing it to see the go lights...

now they have replaced it for a pink screen. It has the doodaa for the tool booth radars on it too, so i dont think it is a cup windscreen?

I get through one over 20 k miles so it wont be long before a new one is required

what tarts though. i told them it was a cup screen and that it was green and everything!

dont worry, I had the same thing happen to me. I go through windscreens regularly, so next one cant be that far off. If its any help, your "pink" windscreen is heat reflective - whatever that means, sounds good in this heatwave

They insisted on the phone that I had either that one or the one with the rain sensor, they wouldnt have it when I tried to explain the cup windscreen is different. In the end I just let them get on with it but when the bloke came to do it he had the right one.

The cup screen is the same as mine, mine is the only one i have seen that is non heat reflective and non rain sensor, other than on the cup and the pre 2001 cars

mine is an early mk2 2001

Any of the pre March 2002 Dynamiques should be like Freds. My Dynamique was the same, no rain or light sensors.
