I saw my first Inferno RS Clio today

And it looked f**king awful. My missus quite comically described it as "A giant baked bean on wheels". Seriously that was what the colour looked like.

I've heard folks on here rave about it, but this is the first time I've seen one in the flesh. Was it just dull looking because it was dirty??

I really love the colour and went out of my way to get one, but obviously not going to be everyone's cuppa. It's a colour of many guises!

Anyway, I like baked beans!

I must admit, the one I saw looked more coppery than the blazing gold/orange I was expecting - and that was in bright sunshine. I was a bit disappointed because they look fantastic in the pictures I've seen.

Hmmm I seen one at my dealers and it did not look that great....But, it was a very dull day and it was filthy. I bet in the right light and cleaned - waxed etc they would look great. It was not my first choice of colour though. each to there own

It is personal preference. Had mine called a bake bean quite a few too, and few people hate it as well, not really bothered have had the black and silver clios before and wanted somthin different

Either way, IMHO its far more interesting than the other boring colours that everyone else seems to have chosen. Each to their own though. My next fave colour is liquid yellow.

Ive a seen an inferno 182 and didnt like it, but ive also seen a 225 in inferno and really liked it. Think it depends on the light and how well the paintwork is cared for.

lol nicer than monaco blue, lol. i agree it looks nice but not as good as cup blue.

err.. the week after they came out in that colour i spotted one with black multispoke wheels and it looked great, however it didnt look as nice as the racing blue i saw with black wheels.

I love mine in inferno, 'cos I think its sporty, bright and totally different to everything else parked in the car park. My missus hates it and calls it hairdresser orange!

It just depends on the angle of the sun. Low angles (morning and evening) make it glow the insane orange colour with gold highlights. Normal daytime sun it looks copper. On a dull day or in shadow, it looks like a tin of baked beans. The low winter sun makes it look it's best - it just GLOWS.

Not to everyone's tastes though for sure, and I can definitely understand why some people may think it's rubbish on the their first sighting.

Also, I see a fair few 182s around, probably at least 3-4 a week. In the 9 months I've had mine I've not seen a single other Inferno. I guess that because most people dont like it though LOL

I think some people just don't get the fact that the colour changes so drastically.

The first time I saw mine I nearly cancelled the swap and kept my Arctic Blue.

When you live with the colour you realise that you made the right choice, in bright sunshine the colour is nothing short of stunning.

Best of all, I have never seen another Inferno 182 on the road.
