I think my timing is all out

  Clio 172 Cup
Before the winter I gave the car a good clean:

Snow Foamed
Washed - Rinsed
Clayed
Washed - Rinsed
Dried
Taped up Plastics and Rubbers
SRP
EGP
Dojo Purple Haze
Wheels Cleaned
Tyres Dressed
Plastics/Rubbers Dressed
Glass Cleaned and Protected
Quick Hoover.

Looked like new but took me close to 15 hours

Everything was done by hand and no f**king about.

Looking at repeating again this next weekend but don't fancy another 15 hour shift, how long should it take!?

Dont need to tape up plastics if your doing it by hand...wastes of time IMO.

That should cut out 5 hours off your time!!

I only mask the black textured plastics to stop polish white marks, b**ch to get off.

or is there a better way?

remove the side ones and give them a good clean behind? not much plastic left on a cup after that, none thats easily avoidable anyway?

if you do get any products on the black plastic, a rubber (pencil) will remove these easily....

In fairness you shouldnt need to do half of the above, simply wash and dry, will not need to be polished if it was only done before the winter, simply apply a coat of wax or spritz with a quick detailer.

Ooft. id just say go back round wash dry new layer of wax. then all the plastics glass and rubbers. wait till the better weather before you do another 15hour cleaning session lol.

15 hours of pure fun!! lol

I still looks mint when washed (once/twice a week) Water still beading well to.

Thinking about buying a Kestrel DA, I like using I4Detailing so which of there starter kits would be best for me/car!?

srp is only a filler so defect/swirles will only be hiden for a while get it moped and the swirles will be gone. then you wont have to do 15 hour shites on it
