I want a fairly quiet exhaust - Ideas

I used to have an Ashley cat back 2 1/4" bore monster with a 4" tailpipe.

Was fun for a while but OMG how loud? There used to be 2 cars parked a couple of houses down from my girlfriend and if I gave it full throttle at night I used to set both car alarms off every time!

Anyway I have standard exhaust back on for now (not for long) as the noise was just too much, especially given that I do a lot of motorway driving. I want a new exhaust, maybe just a backbox coz with the Ashley I lost loads of low rpm power. But I dont want it very loud, just a nice sporty note.

Anyone got any suggestions? I might go to Powerflow but obviously an off the shelf job would be cheaper

Rage exhausts are good and cheap mine sounds lush and was only £90 with all the fittings and sh*t LUSH
