Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection(to seal the polish)
Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel

All available from Halfords.

No point using Megs NXT over AG EGP as the NXT has cleaners so removes the protection that the EGP gives. Use one of the other, for my the EGP as it lasts 3 times as long as the NXT.

Wash - Sonax Gloss Shampoo ( Vauxhall Dealers supply ;) )
Clay - Megs Quick Clay
Swirl Remover - Megs Scratch X as needed
Polish/Paint Cleaner - AG Super Resin
Seal - AG Extra Gloss x2
Wax - (optional step for added depth - red car yes? ) Pinnacle Souveran, Meguiars #26 or Poorboys Natty's Blue ( depending on budget -all look great on red)

  don't
rich, can you not, wash the car,

then use nxt wax, then put the EGP over the top of the nxt wax??

or is there no point

You could, but to get the full durability from EGP you need to apply it over the SRP.

For what its worth Megs NXT IMO is a bit poo ;)

its worse than computers this nxt egp srp lol

no no it gets better north of birmingham :p

i shall have to order some of this stuff then

any good cheap online places as id rather not have to go to halfrauds again this year

brazo i was thinking about calling him again but kinda fancied doing it my self and it would be cheaper to do it my self

  don't
all this egp srp p12 ag etc etc, is all a bit confusing at first

I like the NXT so next time the car gets done

wash with goldclass shampoo
wipe and dry
going to clay the windows as i didn't the other day
then NXT wax
then another coat of NXT probably
then EGP to hopefully finish

worth a try anyway

My suggestion would be somthing like:

Sheepskin Wasmitt or microfibre mitt/sponge
CG's Body Wash/Maxi Suds II
Dry with a waffle weave

Clay Sonus Grey or Clearkote Clay Bar kit if its not been done before

Scratch X for localised areas that need some physical abrasion

Very Shiny:
Klasse All In One followed by
Klasse Sealant Glaze

Wet and Glossy:
Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze
Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax

Bit of everything:
Chemical Guys AIO
Chemical Guys Factory Seal
Chemical Guys XXX

Any proper Carnauba wax will add some wetness and gloss.

Lots of Microfibre towels for buffing and polishing
Applicator pads

Cheers Tim
